Back to School!
Well, day one and two are in the books for us all. They have flown by and I'm so proud of how well everyone has managed throughout the two days as patience is a major part of the first week back to school. Patience when organizing school supplies, patience when learning new routines and procedures, and patience to wait your turn to share in all the summer story excitement. Newsletters went out today to youngest and only children. Some things to remind everyone about in case you're reading this because you don't yet have a newsletter....
1. Playground grand opening tomorrow from 5-7. Parents can tour their childs classroom for the first hour and then there is a ribbon cutting ceremony and BBQ. We will also have our new school clothing on display and order forms will be available.
2. Green forms sent home need to be brought back on Friday.
3. The white demographic sheet with your child's conact info needs to be looked over, if any corrections need to be made please correct on the paper with a pen. Please bring the sheet back by Friday as well so all of our contact info on all of our students is up to date in the office.
Tomorrow we are learning about twitter and will be doing some exploring on our grade four twitter account! We will be starting our science unit on rocks and minerals and we are refreshing our math skills with some 3-digit number work.
